USGS maps 83 billion metric tons of Gulf Coast coal resources

India’s Ministry of Coal says six blocks were successfully auctioned in its latest commercial-coal rounds. Since commercial auctions began in 2020, the government reports that 147 blocks have been awarded with substantial planned production capacity.
